Writer, “Artist” of various forms and currently based in Vancouver, BC. Kat has been actively involved in and had a passion for the arts since childhood. As a child, she consumed mountains of books every week and began writing poetry and articles. Interested in exploring the arts, she picked up her first instrument at age ten, learning to play flute, then drums, then guitar.

During her teen years, she auditioned for a theatre group, was accepted and spent the next few years learning the ins and outs of theatre. Always the explorer, this time eventually led to her interest in photography and art. Still continuously writing, she went on to receive her first by-line at the age eighteen.

Through the years she has penned everything from features, articles, and interviews, to poetry and press materials for musicians/artists. Some of her other previous adventures have included being a makeup artist, doing PR work (publicist), DJ-ing on the radio, and being the Editor-In-Chief of two online music magazines.

Always a writer at heart and an avid learner, she continues her exploration of various art forms.
